Mr. President,
Poland thanks the delegation of China for the national report and its active participation in the UPR process.
We welcome the continued progress made in alleviating poverty in China.
Poland recommends China to:
- ratify the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, as recommended before
- respect the rights to freedom of religion or belief, opinion and expression, peaceful assembly and culture, including for Tibetans, Uighurs and other minorities.
- grant the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and the special procedures access to all regions of China
