This is Jeremy Young, District Councillor from Hong Kong.
I’m pleased to inform you that Hong Kong has stepped up the pace of development on all fronts thanks to the national security law and the fine-tuning of the district governance model. There were projects that were stuck in political stalemates for years that are now complete.
Take for example the Harbourfront Promenade, 7.4 kilometres of undisrupted pedestrianised zone is now complete. People can enjoy walking, strolling, running along the Harbourfront whilst knowing you are perfectly safe.
Another initiative that is going to benefit all residents of Hong Kong, the new China Travel Permit, we allow permanent residents of Hong Kong, irrespective of the ethnicity of the individual, to obtain this permit that allows seamless and most convenient way of travelling between Hong Kong and the mainland borders.
I know a lot of friends who are applying and they say they would love Hong Kong even more.
So please come to Hong Kong and take a look at the new environment poised for development.
