Asian Dignity Initiative would like to reiterate the jointly call made by 4 UN human rights experts in 2022 , urging Chinese authorities to clarify the policy of a conservation and assimilation of the Tibetan culture into the dominated Han Chinese majority to a series of repressive actions against Tibetan education, religion and linguistic institutions, in contradiction with the right to freedom of religion and belief,the right education and the cultural rights of the Tibetan people inside Tibet, rather than undertaking measures to halt the violations and preventing its recurrence .
Under Xin Jinping’s leadership, The Chinese government intensified its efforts to systematically assimilated Tibetan cultural identity in all areas in Tibet.
In July this year, highly reputated, and celebrated private school, Gangjong Sherig Norling in Golog Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture was forced to shut down and the students are forcibly enrolled in state- run boarding school, away from their parents and monasteries.
Young Tibetan children will be subjected to rigorous political education classes and Chinese language education, excluding lessons on Tibetan culture in history. Tibetan teachers are deeply concerned ……
