发言内容:
The Vienna Declaration reaffirms that the right to development is a universal and inalienable human right. Currently, the global green transition is accelerating.
Statistics show that in 2023, the global installation of renewable energy was 510 million kilowatts, with China’s contribution accounting for more than half.
A report from the International Renewable Agency points out that China’s efforts have significantly reduced the global cost of wind and solar PV, promoting the global energy transition.
We have noticed that most developing countries are facing many difficulties, which hinder the full fuelization of the right to development.
First, the coast of energy transformation is still high.
Second, some developed countries have adopted irresponsible measures, such as the unilateral coercive sanctions.
It’s actually reaching global development inequality. So there is a lack of sufficient attention to the right to development in the mechanism of global climate governance.
So we propose, first, promote people -centered global development, and infersight different groups can participate in low carbon transformation.
Second, developed countries should fulfill their financial commitments and increase technology transfer to developing countries.
Third, incorporate the right to development into the co -work of global climate governance.
Thank you.
