President, during the UN water conference 2023 UNESCO and UN water jointly released the world water development report which states that 2 -3 billion people world wide suffering from water scarcity .And that without creating an international cooperation what a scarcity were intensified in the coming decades.
Based on the project experience in China, Amity foundation started living water project in countries including Cambodia and Kenya. Our projects help to establish convenient drinking and domestic water facilities, assisting sustainable water management mechanisms.Water hygiene facilities have also helped children to maintain good hygiene habits during the pandemic.
The project also raises awareness of the global water crisis and encourage people to take actions to solve water problems through advocacy. It is our hope that the oceans and rivers are protected from the release of nuclear waste water such as what Fukushima nuclear plant is doing, we extremely concerned of what this will bring to our water resources and ecosystem.
We call for international communities to cooperate more closely together and to include the targeted groups in the decision making in finding more creative solutions,to improve efficiency in realizing human rights to water and sanitation.
Thank you.
