Thank you, Mr. President,
Lesotho welcomes the distinguished delegation of China to the 45th session of the UPR Working Group. We welcome efforts made by the Government to improve the functioning of the judiciary by integrating modern science and technology in the work of the judiciary.
Whilst noting the positive developments made, Lesotho wishes to recommend China to; 1. bolster efforts to combat new types of cyber and transnational crimes; 2. To continue efforts to ensure universal health coverage in the country, especially in disadvantaged communities and; lastly, to consider ratifying the Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance and the Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of their Families,
We wish China every success with this UPR Cycle.
