The United Republic of Tanzania welcomes the delegation of China to the review session.
We commend China for the steps it has taken in promoting and protecting Political, Civil, Economic, and Social Rights as well as the rights of special groups.
We congratulate China for taking measures aimed at improving the free, compulsory and special education systems, providing needed services for young children and their families and promoting inclusive education for and facilitation of employment of persons with disabilities. We further commend China for providing development assistance to developing countries.
We recommend China to step up measures to reduce the gap in development and income distribution between urban and rural areas.
The United Republic of Tanzania wishes the delegation of China a successful Review session.
