Türkiye welcomes the delegation of the PRC and thanks them for their presentation.
We commend the enhancement of the “right to development”, notably the progress achieved to alleviate poverty and the improvement of infrastructure and access to healthcare services in society, including the ethnic communities.
That said, China should continue its endeavors to improve overall conditions of all components of its population, including the Uyghur Turks with full respect to their distinct identity, religion and language.
We recommend the PRC to;
-uphold and ensure universal human rights;
-continue efforts towards further improving healthcare and infrastructure services in rural areas;
-strengthen measures to improve the conditions of all vulnerable groups such as the disabled and the elderly and guarantee their social rights;
-work closely on human rights issues with the relevant international bodies.
We wish the PRC a successful review.
