The repression of civil society in China,Nicaragua,and the Russian Federation is of great concern. Many NGOs,including media organizations,have been forced to close and those remaining face restrictions in their work.
We urge respective authorities to ensure full adherence to the right of freedom of assembly and association and freedom of expression.
