- Noting that China has now ratified the ILO’s Forced Labor Convention 1930 (No. 29) and the Abolition of Forced Labor Convention 1957 (No. 105), when will the Government take concrete steps to ensure that the use of forced labour is eliminated in Xinjiang, Tibet, and elsewhere in China, including by ratifying the 2014 protocol?
- What concrete steps are China and the Hong Kong SAR Government taking to meaningfully engage with the findings of UN monitoring bodies, including the recommendations from the (i) Human Rights Committee on the implementation of the ICCPR, including the repeal of the Law on Safeguarding National Security; (ii) Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights; and (iii) Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women?
