Mr President,
Mozambique welcomes the high-level delegation of China and thanks them for their comprehensive presentation on the human rights situation in the country.
We commend the government of China for its achievements and progress made in the field of the human rights.
In a constructive spirit, my delegation offers to China the following recommendations:
- Continue to implement all tasks outlined in the Human Rights Action Plan of China, 2021-2025, and make efforts towards achieving the set objectives; and
- Work to improve the quality of life of the population of China who have been lifted out of poverty.
Mozambique wishes China a successful UPR process.
