The Mauritius delegation extends a very warm welcome to the high level delegation of the People’s Republic of China, to this fourth cycle of the UPR.
Mauritius extends its appreciation to the Chinese Government for their voluntary contribution to the Voluntary Trust Fund supporting the work of the LDCs and SIDS in Human Rights Council.
In a spirit of cooperation, we would like to recommend that China:
- Continue to improve the legal system for preventing and stopping sexual harassment in the workplace and provide effective legal remedies for victims.
We wish the People’s Republic of China a successful review and continued progress.
