Mr. President,
Thailand recognizes China’s proactive roles in promoting human rights through international development cooperation, and commend its efforts in uplifting living standards of its citizens, as well as continued progress in poverty alleviation.
Thailand recommends that China:
1. Further enhance equitable access to quality and affordable health care for all, especially in rural or hard to reach areas;
2. Take concrete measures in combatting transnational crimes such as online gambling and human and drug trafficking, including through cooperation with relevant countries and partners; and
3. Continue efforts to provide human rights education and training for all sectors of society.
We wish China a successful review.
