Mr president,good morning, it’s my great honor to speak on behalf of the China Federation of Internet Society.
In recent years,China has done a great deal of effective work on tackling cyber bullying on children,especially the government has promulgated laws and regulations.The internet industry has improved self discipline and all sectors have joined in child protection.
For many years.Cyber Space Administration of China has been carrying out a series of clear air campaigns focusing on seven major problems including cyber bullying and cracking down on illegal and criminal activities targeting minerals. Here I’d like to share our efforts with every one.
First we have set up a professional committee in 2022 with 39 different types of institutions,including Song Qingling foundation, tencent and so on. So far the committee has completed dozens of critical tasks,including formulating industry standards.
Second,we held four sessions of child online protection conference in China and participated in both consecutive UNIGF and hosted workshop on this field.These events have been reported widely in China with over 10 million views.
Third,we try to solve practical problems this year.We went to 12 regions and villages in four Chinese provinces with UNICEF together and provide cyber security education and psychological consulting to more than 200 kids.
In addition,we have produced and published online courses to educate and Guide manuals and their guardians on how to deal with cyber bullying,which have been played over 10 million times .
In the future, we will keep an open attitude and hope to and and cooperate with relevant institutions at home and abroad to explore new ways to deal with child cyber bullying.
