大概内容：Information received concerning the allegation of threats of eviction of Indigenous Peoples from their ancestral lands, as well as other residents of the affected villages, and subsequent loss of livelihoods for the implementation of an industrial development project in Rempang Island, Riau Islands Province, Indonesia, without the free, prior and informed consent of the Indigenous Peoples, or the adequate consultation of the other affected residents. The project is a joint venture between the government agency, Badan Pengusahaan Kawasan Perdagangan Bebas dan Pelabuhan Bebas Batam (BP Batam) and PT Makmur Elok Graha (MEG), which have partnered with Xinyi International Investment Limited, a subsidiary of Xinyi Glass Holdings Limited, a company domiciled in Hong Kong, China. Additionally, there have been allegations of excessive use of force and intimidation against those opposing the planned evictions.
