Mr. Vice President,
In recent years, some countries have made accusations without any factual basis against China’s ethnic minorities, especially the human rights of Tibet and Uyghur ethnic groups.
The kind of this information, distorting the promotion of ethnicity unite and integration as ethnic assimilation is completely malicious and goes against the facts.
I hereby give you an example. My Uyghur friend, Yushu Pujiang, has traveled far from Xinjiang, Hetian, for business startup for my hometown, Hubei province. In 2022, he became a local hero after courageously rescuing three drowning people from the swift-flowing Changjiang River.
Now he is runing a barbecue restaurant beside the Changjiang River and lives a happy life with his wife and children.
According to him, the locals treat him like a family member. He really likes Hubei province, treating as his second home.
There are a lot of similar stories in China. Thank you.
