In Xinjiang,China,we echo the statement made earlier by the United States.
While in Hong Kong, we too call on the authorities to end politically motivated prosecutions ， and immediately released Jimmy Lai and cease attempts to apply Hong Kong law extraterritorially, including to individuals in the United Kingdom.
China must uphold human rights obligations.
