During the past few months,the human rights situation Tibet continues to rapidly deteriorate.The ongoing repressive policies are escalating and aimed at eradicating authentic culture, even entire civilization.
We are in particularly alarmed by the cohesive relocation and resettlement policies in Tibet, that approved individuals and communities from their traditional homes by the boarding school and preschool system, imposing on more than 1 million Tibetan children by the torture and arbitrary detention and enforced the appearances of Tibetan who have documented the consequences of land use,policies,mining,gaming,or poaching, and who are advocating on it.
By the persecution of Tibetans exercising their right to freedom,of regional belief and by the intervention of Communist Party into the appointment of Tibetan Buddhist clergy. All these policies violate the fundamental rights and freedoms of the Tibetan people and should be ended immediately.
We therefore call on UN member states to vote against China for full membership of the Human Rights Council this October. and to take the opportunity of China’s 4th Universal Periodic Review in January 2024 to hold Chinese government to on for its failure to comply with its human rights obligation to Tibet.
