Somalia warmly welcomes the distinguished delegation of China to this fourth cycle of the UPR working group and thanks them for their comprehensive national report presented today.
Somalia commends the importance China attaches to the protection and inheritance of ethnic minority cultures and its further efforts to protect their basic cultural rights.
We also commend China’s remarkable achievements in advancing its energy revolution and the important contributions made to sustainable energy development Globally.
In a spirit of constructive dialogue Somalia recommends the following :
1. Continue to promote the energy revolution and build a clean, low-carbon,safe, and efficient energy system to enhance supply capabilities.
2. Pay attention to challenges posed to human rights protection in the digital age, and take measures to bridge the digital divide.
Somalia wishes to the distinguished delegation of China every success in this review.
